scenes from the week

We had a good week. I took Squish to try out a class at The Little Gym. He loved it, but they're pretty expensive so I'm not sure we'll sign up. He also went to music class and did some painting. We had several afternoons of no naps and then Friday one of his top teeth started poking through. The second one looks like it's not far behind.

This weekend was amazing. Friday hubby played drums at Alumni Band Night at his high school. It was fun to go watch and I took that amazing Friday Night Lights pic of Squish. He's my Tim Riggins.

Saturday morning we dropped Squish off at my in-laws and hubby and I spent several hours together celebrating our anniversary. We went out to breakfast, we went shopping, we went out to lunch….pretty sure it's only the second time I've been shopping without baby since he was born. It was amazing. Saturday night we had a little party at the gym.

Sunday (our actual anniversary- 7 years!) hubby and I did an anniversary workout then took Squish to a local farm/pumpkin patch. He had fun seeing the 11 day old baby calf and the chickens.

In other news, I'm never dressing my kid in anything but plaid and skinny jeans or overalls ever again. He's the cutest.

MAKE-MEDIA-OVER-1

My girl Katy just released an awesome self-led course designed to help you make more money blogging. You guys know I don't promote stuff I haven't tried and loved myself but I'm making an exception in this case. Although I haven't personally purchased this course, I have NO DOUBT that it is amazing. I've worked with Katy several times over the years on my own blog and she is a WEALTH of information about all things blogging, SEO, etc. I just know this course is going to help so many bloggers. And she's made it TOTALLY affordable. Seriously, it's like $40 and probably worth hundreds. So go check it out: Make Your Blog Your Business.
