We went to Minnesota for my cousin's wedding and had a great time. We visited the train museum, went to the wedding (although the kids didn't let us see the ceremony), skipped lots of naps, and even got some family photos taken with my parents and sister thanks to a good family friend. When we got home, we spent the weekend visiting the apple orchard, playing in the mud, making pumpkin boats and more.

We're also dealing with our first cases of hand foot and mouth and it is not fun. The baby got it very very mildly and I'm grateful for that. Squish has it now and it's no fun, but based on pictures i've seen and some stories I've heard, it's still a pretty mild case. I also have it and it is the worst. I got fairly minimal bumps/blisters on my hands and feet but have several sores in my mouth and they are incredibly painful. It's like having 10 terrible canker sores in your mouth all at the same time. Hubby is also not feeling well.

So, Squish is home from school for the week and we're trying to lay low as it works its way through. Lots of popsicles and yogurt for Squish.

Hope you're all having a great week!

Enjoy!
